Ben Stein, in case you don't recognize the name, is a "writer, economist, and lawyer. He writes "Ben Stein's Diary," for every issue of The American Spectator", according to his column's credits.
It's obvious he's got POTUS' number, and it is a Big Zero. At every turn since his election, it seems Obama has been trying to belittle this great country. One right at a time. With every tragedy, he and his henchmen have launched attacks on our rights and freedoms. In the words of one of those Obamites, never let a good tragedy go to waste. We witnessed that when a lone nutcase opened fired on teachers and kids at an elementary school in Connecticut last December. The president immediately went on the warpath, and guns were his enemy. This in spite of his pre-2008 election campaigning where he claimed he supported the rights of Americans to own guns.
Now, with a verdict coming in that freed a neighborhood watch guy in Florida after he shot and killed a BLACK teenager, Obama has renewed his anti gun stance. You're surely aware of that infamous Sanford, Florida case, the one where George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin after the teenager attacked Zimmerman. The jury agreed that Zimmerman violated no laws, and that he acted in self defense. Not good enough for our constitutional scholar. Obama and others could care less about the evidence. That was clear from the beginning. They wanted Zimmerman's head. Facts? Forget about those little annoyances. A BLACK teenager died, and since Zimmerman was labeled as a white Hispanic, that was good enough for a cause. The Race Card was played by the likes of Sharpton, a man who would have no income if it wasn't for BLACK tragedies.
Where, I ask, is the outrage in the black community, where is the outrage from the president (yes, I know...I still use a lower case "p" with Obama) and Sharpton, over the fact that 140 teenagers, almost all BLACK, were killed between the time Martin was shot and the not guilty verdict was returned? And, all of these kids were killed in Chicago, a town where it's virtually impossible to legally buy or own a gun. A town where Obama hails from. Sort of. Where, I ask again, is the outrage? These kids were just as BLACK as Martin. They were roughly the same age. And, they were murdered. You want to know what the difference is? Why Sharpton and Obama and others of a like mindset haven't screamed and hollered from the top of the tallest Chicago skyscraper? It's because that virtually every one of these statistics, i.e. killings, were committed by other BLACKS.
I don't know about you, but that is outrageous.

"Why was President Barack Obama in such a hurry to get his socialized medicine bill passed? Because he and his cunning circle realize some basic truths:
The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. (Pig in a poke means: an offering or deal that is foolishly accepted without being examined first. A poke means sack.)
They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith.
They ignored his anti-white writings in his books.
They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright.
They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student.
They ignored his ultra-left record as a "community organizer," Illinois state legislator, and Senator.
The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record as a student and teacher, his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar.
Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth. Barack Obama is a super likeable, super leftist, and not a fan of this country.
The American people have already awakened to the truth that the stimulus bill -- a great idea in theory -- was really an immense bribe to Democrat interest groups, and in no way helped ALL Americans.
The American people already know that Mr. Obama's plan to lower health costs while expanding coverage and bureaucracy is a myth, a promise of something that never was and never can be --
"a bureaucracy lowering costs in a free society." Either the costs go up or the free society goes away... an historical truth.

Now, we face a devastating loss of freedom at home in health care. It will be joined by controls on our lives to "protect us" from global warming, itself largely a fraud, if believed to be caused by man. Hillary has also signed on to a Small Firearms Treaty at the U.N. This is a back door gun control move. If this is approved by the Senate and a 2nd Amendment majority doesn't exist in the Senate now. It will supersede all U.S. Law and the 2nd Amendment. All citizen possession will be eliminated through confiscation. Just Like Great Britain and Australia .
Mr. Obama knows Americans are getting wise and will stop him if he delays at all in taking away our freedoms. There is his urgency and our opportunity. Once freedom is lost, America is lost. Wake up, beloved America" .
